Google Christmas E-Card 2020 to Press

Every year Google PR Comms Team will organise a get together with members from the Press for a Christmas session. Due to the Covid19 pandemic situation around the world, the team decides to come up with a nice e-card to send to the press. What’s unique about this e-card is that it is an illustrated card with hidden songs from the curated Wintertime playlist in YouTube by them Comms team. There are 10 songs hidden within the Christmas theme illustration. Can you find them all?

Illustration for Google Invites

Illustrated simple and fun illustration for Google 2 invites. The first one is for Google’s Hacks & Flacks Holiday Party and the second one if for Press Party Invite. Love the opportunity to create something fun yet stay onto Google’s Material Design where it was illustrated from white background.

Google Slides Template for Google’s Austin 2020

Designed a Google slide template for an event in Austin. While designing them, we need to take in consideration on how to make the template easy to replicate, modular and makes anyone who uses it looks like a pro designer. Not forgetting the Google-y element.

Google  APAC Comms Norm

To come up with an inspiring team manifesto design for PR/Comms team that works across APAC.

After some brainstorming with PR/Comms team lead, we came up with this awesome poster design that serves as a fun reminder to teams and individuals in amazing great team work and moving forward working across APAC.

Results

Nice designs makes people happy. And great manifesto acts as a great reminder to work better and collaborate smarter.

YouTube Fun Class Workshop

Designed brand identity and a set of stickers for the Hong Kong YouTube Fun Class Workshop held in 2017. The purpose of this project is to have YouTube influencers collaborating with Google in running small intimate themed workshops to engage with their followers. The workshops are divided in 6 different categories such as Cooking, Fitness, Wellness, Travel, Gadget and Beauty. 

These workshops happen in real time and also lived on the YouTuber's channel.

Google Social Summit 2017

Who love stickers? Put your hands up! For the Google Social Summit 2017 which was held in Singapore, we designed and illustrated a couple of fun and social stickers with social media messages that the attendees can collect. These stickers were like the social badge of honour.

Google Micro-Moments Infographics in APAC

We created these beautiful and simple illustrated infographics visuals for Google's Micro-Moments in APAC. The brief was to make collected data easy to understand and to look interesting. And the best part of this project is that we learnt so much about APAC's user behaviour while designing this. It was a fun project project on data.

Google APAC LAAM Poster

This started as a casual conversation on beautiful graphic design and posters that led to this design project of a minimalist A1 poster with data and wins in Google APAC LAAM team. We did some experiments on printing processes and the final product is a beautiful A1 poster in matte black with gold foil printing. We sent these poster all out to all the APAC teams on their offsite meeting.

Google Play Lunar New Year 2016

For Lunar New Year in 2016, the Google Play team approached us to come up with pre and the 15 days of Lunar New Year social post designs for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea. We created Mr Mon Kee, our main character for the LNY campaign and we illustrated several post that corresponds uniquely with each of the 15 Lunar New Year day from house cleaning, visiting relatives to more specific to each countries like background monuments, special food or unique costumes.
